Classic Mimosa salad

Classic Mimosa salad

Ingredients (6 Servings):

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 can of canned fish (Sardines or other)
  • 150g cheese
  • 200 g mayonnaise
  • 100g butter
  • 1 onion
  • dill 

Method of preparation:

Hard boil eggs, cool and peel. Finely chop egg whites and mash all egg yolks using a fork. Peel onion and finely chop or grate. Grate cheese on a medium grater, chop dill. Transfer fish in a separate bowl and mash using a fork. Put egg whites in wide dish. Put grated cheese on egg whites, then put a fish. Grease with mayonnaise. Then put a layer of chopped onion and half the mashed yolks. Grease the yolks with mayonnaise, sprinkle with chopped herbs. Grate frozen butter on a small grater and put on top. Decorate the salad with remaining yolks. Put the salad in refrigerator for 2 hours. Decorate with fresh herbs before serving.
