Spicy fish
Ingredients (4 servings):
- 1kg of fresh fish
- 3 tbsp of vegetable oil
- 2 onions
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbsp of tomato paste
- 2 bay leaves
- 5-6 peppercorns
Method of preparaion:
Rinse the purified carcass of fish, sprinkle with salt from above and inside the abdomen, let stand for 20-30 minutes. Then the fish thoroughly grease with vegetable oil and put in a fireproof shape. Onion cut into half rings, garlic - slices and add to the fish. From above grease with tomato paste, sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, add the bay leaf. Bake in oven for 1 hour at 180 C (360 F), occasionally basting with formed juice. Before serving remove the pieces of garlic and sprinkle with formed juice. Serve with vegetables and herbs.
