Ingredients (4 Servings):

  • 200g feta cheese
  • 3-4 tomatoes
  • 1-2 cucumbers
  • 1-2 sweet pepper
  • 1 onions (preferably red)
  • juice of half lemon
  • 80g olives, pitted
  • olive oil to taste
  • parsley, celery, basil to taste
  • garlic, salt and ground black pepper to taste

Method of preparation:

Put lettuce leaves on the bottom of the salad bowl. Coarsely cut tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, cut onion into rings and gently put on lettuce leaves. Greek salad couldn't be mixed, and you can be creative - for example, lay pepper slices on a large circle. Put cucumbers and tomatoes inside, cut tomatoes into circles or roll in half. Add olives on top, diced cheese and sprinkle with finely chopped greens. Basil gives special piquancy  - but you can use any other fresh herbs - parsley, cilantro. Season salad with olive oil and lemon juice, add salt to taste, pepper.
