Rice dessert
Ingredients (2 Servings):
- 2/3 cups of long-grain rice
- 1/4 cups of dried apricots
- 1/4 cups of prunes
- 1/2 cups of raisins
- 2-3 tbsp chopped walnuts
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp sugar powder, mint - for decoration
- vanilla sugar - to taste
Method of preparation:
Cook the rice.
Put rice into a pan of boiling water, bring to a boil and tightly cover. Simmer for 10 minutes, until the rice absorbs all water. Two servings - 125g rice and 250 ml of water.
Raisins, dried apricots and prunes scald with boiling water, cut into small pieces, chop the nuts. Mix raisins with the rice, vanilla sugar. Transfer into a form dish and put in fridge. After solidifying take away the form from refrigerator, transfer rice to a plate. Serve with chopped dried fruits, crushed nuts and mint.
