Rice pudding with vanilla recipe
Ingredients (2 Servings):
- 100g of whole grain rice
- 500ml milk
- 1/2 tsp of ground vanilla
- 1/2 zest of lemon
- 50-100g sugar
- 10g gelatin
- 250ml water
- 200 ml cream (30%)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- nuts, dried fruits
- chocolate for decoration - to taste
Method of
preparation:
- Cook rice in milk with vanilla, zest and half of sugar (25-50 grams) over low heat about 30 minutes. Cover and let it stand more half hour.
- Dissolve gelatin in a small amount of hot water and add to the rice, mix and leave until start of solidifying. Beat up cream into a foam, add to the rice and mix.
- Put in the moistened with cold water cooking molds. Then put in fridge for 1.5-2 hours. After solidification transfer rice to a plate.
- Serve with chocolate, nuts and dried fruit - to taste.
